Thanksgiving is only weeks away and Christmas is just around the corner. Last year I was able to organize a luncheon at SHARE! downtown. This year I am brainstorming and beginning to plan out another contribution to SHARE! Ideas, welcome, but we were thinking of a boxed lunch with a gift to give out to all their members. Please contact me if you'd like to help.

Beyond that, I would also like to bring another great program to your attention. We especially cannot forget about the under-priveleged children. Jesus, I sound like a commercial ad. BUT, sponsoring a family in your area is a wonderful way to give back. Instead of getting friends and family stupid gifts that end up being re-gifted or never used, pool your resources and sponsor a family. In the Los Angeles area, you can pick the size of your family... I have chosen a family of 2. While small, I wanted to be able to spoil them for Christmas. They estimate a family of 2 would need a donation of 100-200, at the donors discretion. If you can honestly look me in the computer screen and tell me you do not have $100-200 to spare, then stop reading. (and why the fuck are you reading a fashion blog anyways?)
