Vanessa Mooney... wont cost you a lot of Money.

Jenuine West - Tuesday, December 28, 2010
If I was daughter to a Hollywood landmark or a person along those lines, I am sure I would have some business to display my creativity, money and resources. But I am daughter of a chemical engineer and a nurse practitioner (both retired), and while my Father has been published, I don't see myself reaping the benefits from his research and studies in safer chemical processes. I actually don't even look like my Wasp father or my German mother. But I am not complaining because the  actual reason I was given up for adoption was because I am royalty. They feared the end of a royal family and sent me to the US for safe keeping. I think they might have misplaced me but soon my head will be reunited with a diamond and gem encrusted crown. I am sure of this.

But for now, I will allow the Vanessa Mooney's of the world use their family's money and resources to create things I wish to buy. Great-granddaughter of Harry Warner, one of the Warner Bros., makes her jewelry her own with her unique take on textures, colors, and the blending of different materials. Every piece is hand-made in her studio in Downtown Los Angeles. You can find here at several retailers in the LA area: American Rag, Confederacy, Nordstrom, Fred Segal, Market, LF, and more. Find her site with more details and online shopping here.

While the aesthetics are different from my usual style, I warmed up to this necklace once it was placed on my neck. Thank you Andrei :) christmas present number duex.

The beads have a sheen and contrast great with black which is the majority of my wardrobe. I am not a fan of the earrings but I prefer studs. The rest of her Fall 2010 line is great. It is a cross between Native American, Indian and ?. Definitely a Californian Boho style. Oh, and almost all the pieces except for a couple are under $200.

What do you think?
