According to the personality test I took earlier today, I demand organization and structure. This probably deems me inappropriate to shop at a store like Nordstrom Rack; which has opened its doors next to Beverly Center earlier this year. Even so the lure of discount designer clothes and shoes, calls my name.

Maybe it was the day I went but the store was flooded with loud-mouthed women on cellular phones that wished the entire world to know they were speaking to someone. I went directly to the Contemporary department, which is small. The store itself is undersized and carries less merchandise than I expected. The handbag and jewelry department is very small and the costume jewelry was dominated by Betsey Johnson pieces
I saved the best for last - the shoe department. Although I found a diamond in the rough: a pair of patent blue Jimmy Choo's, I was still gloomy as I walked the shoe isle. This Rack compared to Scottsdale's Rack and Off Sak's was second-rate - very unorganized, less merchandise and lower-end merchandise.
Is it worth the time and the patience?
In my opinion, NO. Even with a pair of Choo's, it is not likely
I will go back. I would suggest though, to sign up with their mailing list. Found here.
Nordstrom Rack, you disappointed me. Now, go hang your head in designer shame.
