I fell in love with the lace masks used in Jason Wu's Ready to Wear Fall 2011 collection. While I could be classified as somewhat of a label "whore" I still draw the line at a $850 piece of lace - even if it is french lace and even if it was collaborated with Mason Michel.

 

Awhile back I was asked to a Masquerade event which ended up being an event sans Masquerade but I jumped at this lace-wearing opportunity. I purchased a $2 headband from CVS and a $40 lace trim. With a couple stitches I had a $42 headband that looked quite similar to the real thing.

Now only if it was acceptable to wear every day.
