Monday at the Bowery Hotel in NY, Madewell presented their new line Alexa Chung for Madewell. Anna Wintour arrived unannounced before the presentation began and had a private showing. This was a line, many wanted to see. The reviews are in and none were disappointed. After-school tom-girls with a modern twist: denim hot pants, over-sized cardigans, tweed blazers, romantic blouses, vintage jewelry, and clogs were everywhere.

Maybe I'm partial to Madewell because a close friend works in their New York division but I really do love their classic every-day digs with a splash of romantic flair.
