Wanging in there.

Jenuine West - Tuesday, September 13, 2011
I wasn't fond of Vegas last week and the feeling remains the same through this week and probably forever. I shouldn't blame Vegas for my accident based on the mere location of where I fell. But this event only further secures my dislike for this city. One may see "accident" and "Vegas" in the same sentence and think intoxication. I wish I could reveal a tale of inebriation ending in a silly fall but I do not have an explanation to why I slipped down one stair and why my elbow lodged itself in the stair handrail causing a slight tear of my skin that resulted in 9 stitches. Just a weird accident. It could be worse. We wont dwell.

In other news, New York Fashion Week is almost over. One of my favorites: Alexander Wang. Jumpers redefined as "racing suits". Fishnet takes over some of the pieces but overall I laughed, loved and longed.

NO FNO for me

Jenuine West - Thursday, September 08, 2011
No Fashion Night Out for me. I left New York Monday night and I leave Los Angeles in a few hours for the CAALA Las Vegas Convention. What is that, you ask...

Well, it just happens to be the largest convention for plaintiff attorneys in the nation! Jealous?? How I wish I was still in New York. How I wish I could shop at ABC Home everyday. And how I wish I could eat some oysters. Not right this minute because it is early but for lunch. Yes, oysters for lunch in New York would be good.

That's not me. ABC has this amazing Vintage/Antique selection. (just a little over-priced and when I say a little I mean a lot)

 Real spiderwebs caught between glass.

Pearls of wisdoms and amazing home decor. Their online store does not do it justice... go visit ABC in person.

Zara online!

Jenuine West - Wednesday, September 07, 2011
Today is the day.

Zara is now available online!!! To commemorate their USA online shopping debut they have taken 50 photographs from 50 states. See the full slideshow here.

I LOVE ZARA.  I love their blazers, their amazing separates and of course their thin silk shirts. The only problem I find with Zara is that their sizes run large and it is very difficult to find a "xs" in store. But now with online shopping, it will be a breeze. Just be careful, as in all online shopping - pictures can be deceiving. But with free in-store pick-up, free standard shipping and only $10 rush shipping with no return charge - Is this a dream?

More Roma!

Jenuine West - Tuesday, September 06, 2011

Walking, so much walking.

We woke up at 6am to see the Scalinata della Trinità dei Monti (Spanish Steps) without the company of other tourists.

Zara Dress, unknown belt, Chanel handbag and boots from Urban Outfitters that hurt my toes.

Colosseum.

Y-3 Dress, McQueen sunnies, and a pink Chanel covered by a yellow wrap.

Saint Peter's Square.

On the Road again...

Jenuine West - Friday, September 02, 2011
On Wednesday I found myself facing an empty suitcase that needed to be filled. After much moaning and stomping around I think I packed it with the necessities. Time will tell.

My first stop: upstate New York. A quick visit with family and then on to New York City to visit with some college friends and attend Electric Zoo. Pictures will be added later but for now a quick picture from Rome.

Prada sneakers had to be purchased because I didn't have any walking shoes... They were out of my size in solid colors so I settled for the leopard print. Rawr.
