The Spanish Cache?
While speed walking in El Borne, I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw a blur of white at Etxart & Panno. I don't do Spanish well so I have no idea what kind of store this is. After attempting some internet research I have this strange feeling they are incredibly similar to the US Store Cache. I don't think this is a good thing. And, I don't care. See more here.
I like this shirt and it is mine. Minus the black flower thing.

Home.

I think not.
In the past two months we’ve been around and about to Costa Rica, Aruba, Detroit, Barcelona and Ibiza. We have landed in LA and will be on the ground for another 2 1/2 weeks. I have to admit... it is nice to be home...
Spain was a rush of rave familia, music, and dance till you drop parties - tied into a perfect bow. Culprit's first collaboration fiesta abroad was a smash - thanks to Rust and Friends, Leftroom and La Funny Vie en Rouge.
I want to go back... soon. Oh the dream... to live in Europe during the summers and Los Angeles during the winters with a little bit of New York in between.
"It is often safer to be in chains than to be free"
Like a bug to bright light, I have always been attracted to over-the-top pieces despite the absence of an event to wear them to. LaureLuxe Metal Couture & Jewelry is a designer with a certain edginess that merits a much better scene than brunch on a Sunday afternoon. While LaureLuxe offers many 'everyday' pieces, I prefer her outstanding ones.
Based in New York and influenced by Brooklyn, every piece is meticulously handcrafted; customized to fit the client. Created from recycled aluminum geometric shaped plating, the designs are complimented by silhouettes made of gold or silver aluminum chain, whether wrapped or draped, to define every curve.
CS for Opening Ceremony
When Chloe does a line for Opening Ceremony, I clicked on the link with an "ew" face and a reluctant movement of my pointer finger. I'd like to say I was surprised and I now have a new love for this actress/designer but I don't want to lie to you.
While I like some of the pieces, I am not a fan of the whole theme - let's look like slutty school girls. Leather and Lace is a must but the the fullness of the skirts, the frill and the varsity jacket is a no go for me. NEXT!

What the FUCK forever 21...
The Main Godfather of copyright infringement is upset. So they target a sharp-mouthed blogger who laughs at their ridiculous designs but while doing so actually gets people to visit the Forever 21 site looking for those 'horrible' pieces she ridicules. Forever 21 has sent her a cease and desist letter because they feel the site has created "unfair competition" and "monetary damages" in addition to the fact that they do not like the word FUCK.
It looks like the site will be taken down. But Rachel Kane is all over the media right now, so who knows - maybe a much richer person will help her out with the legal fees? Still, in these dire times Kane keeps her sense of humor going: "The only thing I have to console myself with in this defeat is the hope that consumers at-large will know just how humorless the people are who make the day-glow pink panties they have to buy in bulk."

TEAM KANE!
Jason Wu woos me.
It makes me want to go on a cruise. Well, not really.
Gucci lied to my feet

Hiatus?
I've been around the world and back again… actually I haven't but it feels like it. We attended Rachel's wedding in Aruba a couple weekends ago. Well worth the hours of traveling to watch one of my best friends walk down a sandy isle to be married. It was a beautiful time. Sweaty but beautiful.

The weekend after, we descended upon Detroit for a three day rave. Rave in the sense of nonstop fun with friends from around the world sans furry boots and neon colored bracelets. At the persistent bullying from two friends, I only packed one black piece of clothing. I wore colors the entire three days except for a couple hours when I freaked out due to the rain and went and bought a black and gray jacket from the downstairs shop.

I have a little over a week to get ready for my next trip - Barcelona and Ibiza… I need new shoes but unfortunately, I need comfortable shoes. A pair of Gucci sandals died at the Old Miami in Detroit and now I am on the hunt for sandals, wedges and flats…
