Maybe McQueen thinks the same way I do, maybe we are soul mates, maybe he just understands how to merge weird with a softness that can only be translated into this shoe:

According to Alexander McQueen on Melrose - this is the only shoe resembling the runway Spring/Summer 2010 collection that is being released. The rest of the shoes will be special order only and most likely have a price tag of 5k and up. They are not in stores yet but I am waiting patiently. I have scoured the internet looking for a picture of the Titanic pump in petrol, as it was rumored to be released but could find nothing.
But I am a bad girl, I have ordered a 38 and a 39 to the Melrose store in black and the salesclerk was gracious enough to send me a photograph from the lookbook. Will it arrive in time for my NY trip? Most likely not, but a girl can dream. I pray this will fit me perfectly because as of right now, they are the heels of my dreams.

And a bit more practical for everyday wear...

The Titanic Ballet pump is $1985.00 USD in petrol and pink. The Titanic Ankle Boot in the picture shown here and in Patent Black Leather will be available in the stores for $3995.00 USD.
The rest of the runway shoes will run 5k to 10k, for example the top right 12 inch platform is made from various skins, explaining but not cushioning the 10k price tag.
I received their accessory look book yesterday and the accessories are out of this world. I will share my favorites soon.
